World’s End Club centers around The Go-Getters Club, a group of high-school misfits and outcasts from all over Japan who are forced to compete in a “Game of Fate” in a bizarre theme park on a class trip. The game is the second game developed by Kodaka and Uchikoshi’s Too Kyo Games, which released the FMV adventure game Death Come True on PC and Nintendo Switch last July.

The game marks the first collaboration of Kodaka and Uchikoshi’s, with Kodaka writing the game’s story while Uchikoshi directs. The newest trailer very briefly highlights the game’s 2D platforming gameplay, which seems to be centered around solving puzzles using each of the Go-Getters Club’s eccentric cast.
World’s End Club is in development from Too Kyo Games in collaboration with Grounding Inc., the development studio led by Panzer Dragoon creator Yukio Futatsugi which is also assisting development with Hidetaka “SWERY” Suehiro’s next title The Good Life, which is slated to launch later this year. The first half of World’s End Club debuted on Apple devices earlier last year, with the full game previously releasing on Apple Arcade on September 4, 2020. The Nintendo Switch versions will be released physically and digitally by NIS America in May, with a collector’s edition available on the publisher’s website.
World’s End Club is available now on Apple devices through Apple Arcade. The Nintendo Switch version will release on May 28th 2021.
